Sometimes when X meets Y the result is utterly perfect. Say gin and pink lemonade, or Pecorino & honey. In the field of home design, as in fashion, when a brand collaborates with the creative energy of a unique output the results can be truly swoon worthy. Some of you may say Lenny Kravitz for CB2, or Henry Holland x Habitat, or maybe one of the zillion cutting edge collabs Liberty have done. My personal fave was always French company I-Bride’s collaboration with Habitat about 5 years ago. Until now. I’ve been coming across pieces that I love named Roar & Rabbit over at West Elm since the start of the year when I bought this so stunning geo inlay jewellery box (pictured above). But I only got round to looking into what it was last week.

Wow, now I get why I’ve got major heart eyes for all of this range. It’s designed by Mitzie Wong and Wendy Wurtzburger who were both creative heads at Anthropologie until they decided to put their two dreams together and came up with design firm Roar & Rabbit, this is their first homeware range. When you get a line designed by two people who were at the top of Anthropologie for a home brand with its own fantastic identity you get one very massive win in my book. Have you seen the chest of drawers in the picture above?!? It’s beyond high fives, it needs a medal, how is it a high street piece?! I just love everything these ladies have come up with: art, terrariums, bedding, furniture, glassware, all with a modern edge but somehow still all very charming at the same time. Some have sold out in the UK (boo), so I’ve put current U.S links to compensate. That glass coffee table is on sale in the U.S and a total steal right now. I hope West Elm continue this collaboration, can’t wait to see what these ladies come up with next…
