8 of the best round mirrors on the high street

One of the big design trends in home accessories at the moment are round mirrors, they are in pretty well every interiors set or shot you see at the minute. To be honest, this seems pretty elementary to me, of the 13 mirrors in our home only one isn’t round (and even that has curved edges). I guess Im just not a straight lined kind of girl when it comes to mirrors! But they do suddenly feel very modern, to my eye round mirrors look equally good amongst the cool straight lines of minimalism or quirkier vintage schemes. Because they have a simple designs the material used in them is really important and can really sing amongst a scheme without stealing the limelight from other items on display.

I’m writing this piece as one of the things I get asked  most frequently on my Instagram feed is where our various mirrors have come from. They all cost under £200, with some of them costing as little as £20, the absolute number one is my bathroom mirror (main picture above) which I am forever destined to point people in the direction of John Kewis for, and to be fair it is an amazing mirror! So these, below, are some of my favourite round mirrors on the high street, which would you choose?

Clockwise from Top Left: //  Modern Hanging Oversized Mirror from West Elm  //  Pero from Swoon Editions //  Antique Brass Mirror, Cox & Cox //  Wooden Framed Mirror, Zara   //  Plywood mirror in collaboration with The V&A from MADE  //  Cedar Loop Mirror, Tanti //  Brass Hanging mirror, John Lewis //   Black Mirror, Dunelm //

Hi, thanks for this I have been considering the Ikea circle mirror but glad to see some others. I am in the midst of changing my kitchen Ive gone for a 70’s look with a fair amount of orange, I got orange chairs on ebay that are the spit of the habitat ones and they worked out £16 each! not £85!! Table from John Lewis which is 60cms wide 120 long with dark grey top it fits really well in my not huge kitchen ( moved my fridge into the hall to get more space in there. anyway Im also pinching your wallpaper in a frame idea to go behind the table and may also go for similar or same paper i have that in my pile of samples and think it looks fab against the orange chairs…..anyway love your home and love this site
