The design website In The Window have asked me to curate a collection for them, which translates in my head as a great excuse to go window shopping (or window licking as I prefer, see definition here). I have also done a short interview piece with them which you can see here. In The Window, who launched fairly recently, describe themselves as an immersive social experience celebrating the stories around the great design of objects and spaces.

It is a great visual way to storyboard design ideas, I see them as a kind of high end version of Pinterest with beautiful shots and stories behind designs from their creators. It’s a super place for design mavens to find pieces and share them with each other or to engage with makers themselves. There are lots of interesting brands on the site, with makers that we have in our own apartment like Kangan Arora, Rapture & Wright, Small Talk, Cole & Son to name but a few. But it also features lots of covetable pieces from designers that I hadn’t yet heard of and emerging talents. Head over to their website and see how many items you can find of interest and do share anything you’ve found that I’ve missed with me via my profile on there, or just drop by and say hi!
