It’s the 1st December, which I think is actually quite late in blogging terms for a festive post! We decorated for Christmas this weekend, which given it was the end of November is a little early for us, but with 2020 being such a rubbish year I have decided to bring the twinkly lights into our home early. My six year old seems to be in full Christmas mode already, singing songs from the school show at every opportunity. Excited isn’t the word, I think it may be because he doesn’t need to be nervous of an audience this year. He was Joseph last year and hated it, this year he sings himself to sleep each night, it’s very cute, although one thing he keeps reverting to is Shakin’ Stevens, not sure that’s a part of the play… So, here below, is how our home currently looks, crossing fingers I’m not wholeheartedly sick of it by Boxing Day! But for now I feel pretty smug, I’ve actually wrapped all of Ted’s presents already and bought almost everyone else’s. So maybe I’ll just sit back with a cocktail or two for the rest of the month, well there’s very little else to do at the moment! Have you decorated for Christmas yet?
