Kalahari Vignettes Anthropologie Wallpaper

It’s been a while since I last posted on wallpapers and there are so many eye catchers on the market. I saw some great ones at London Design Festival in September, patterns are a bit of a weakness for me so this was truly testing ground, but I haven’t got round to sharing them all yet. Some are pretty neutral, others perhaps more fitting on the ubiquitous feature wall which I’m a big fan of, it can be a great and inexpensive way to feature art in a room, and some high end ones really are like pieces of art. It seems fitting that I post this today as I am going to use Ted’s afternoon nap to remove some anaglyphta from the hallway in our new house. I include a few American papers as some people are happy to shop internationally (or are reading from other countries) and in fact I have ordered the wallpaper in the main image for my downstairs loo from Anthropologie’s American website. Here is my smorgasbord of favourites,  Enjoy!

Kalahari Vignettes Anthropologie Wallpaper

Ever one for whimsical touches, I am totally smitten with this paper, the bird with trumpet riding an elephant is too, too cute! As I mentioned above its going in our downstairs loo which has the slightly ambitious theme of black, white and brass for such a small space, I’m hoping this intricate paper will pull everything together. Illustrations by artist Florence Balducci commissioned by Anthropolgie. Kalahari Vignettes, $88 per roll from Anthropologie.

eley kishimoto flash wallpaper

What’s not to love about this beautifully busy eye demanding stunner from Eley Kishimoto. It probably is the most expensive paper on the list but it makes the cut because it’s so fancy. From here.

Cube pattern removable wallpaper

I love a good geometric pattern so this self adhesive removable paper really hits the mark for me, am toying with the idea of having it on the chimney breast in the study. Great for a small space, Cube removable wallpaper, £24.42 per piece, Etsy.

Micro Dazzle wallpaper 17 Patterns

If you love your Art Deco, and who doesn’t?, then you will love this bold and modern take on a Deco motif. I think this company’s work is just brilliant, there are loads I would feel very lucky to own but this is my favourite, Micro Dazzle in gold for £220 per role from 17 patterns.

Processed with VSCOcam with hb1 preset

This is the last word in cute for wallpaper for me. I love it, if Ted was still tiny it would have been a great choice in the nursery. Scallop Dots wallpaper, by Rust, $230 AUD from Hello Little Birdie.

focus wallapaper Feathr

This is from a really great design company that I saw at Tent London this year. They manage to keep costs pretty low for such good quality papers (remember that marble effect paper I saw for a mouth watering £140 PER METRE!, let me say that again, per meter?!). This one is designed by Casper Heijkenskjöld and costs £79 a roll, through  Feathr.

Hygge & West Daydream Wallpaper

I just love American company Hygee & West’s designs. How could I not love them, they produced Rifle Paper Co’s Pineapple paper! This is my current favourite which I think is adorable in yellow & blue but there are so many to choose from. Daydream wallpaper $165 per roll from Hygge & West.

How fabulous is this After Lowry paper? It’s based on an original Lowry design and also comes in stunning tile form. This is £160 a roll, available from Rockett St George.

Daniel-Heath-high-wire-wallpaper-in-mustard.-Photo-by-Tom-Fallon-

As with all Heath designs, this paper is just stunning, I have chosen the design I think he is most famous for and it is a wonderful paper, the gold paint used in the hand printed design takes it from beautiful to special. We were lucky enough to be given a print of this design at the In the Window bloggers event which is currently cheering up an otherwise dingy space in the upstairs hallway. Daniel Heath, £100 per role here

Circles & Pop wallpaper

Circle & Pop in Navy selected by lady of impeccable style Kate of Mad About The House in her Great.ly shop, self adhesive, £25.33 a piece.

façade-self-adhesive-wallpaper

The best cityscape wallpaper I’ve seen in the last few years, this self adhesive paper from American firm CB2 is called Facade and retails at $99.95 here.

Deborah Bowness painted wall in moscow

A dream for anyone who loves colour and isnt afraid to use it, I love this Painted Wall in Moscow by wallpaper designer Deborah Bowness, you can buy it for £129 through Lime Lace.

Highland Fling Juliet Travers

I couldn’t include a wallpaper run down without mentioning this charming paper from Juliet Travers.  It is such a lovely paper, we umm-ed and ah-ed about where it could go in the new house for quite a while. Unfortunately it doesn’t quite fit our home style but I do absolutely love it. Get it through Juliet’s website, £99 a roll, here.

Little-Greene_Zingara_wallpaper_Blue_Collection

And finally, a lovely paper in the new collection from paint brand Little Greene, Zingara in Cerulean Sea £61 a roll here.
