So, last week saw me do a couple of exciting new things, one was to help with the styling of a project in Fulham and the other was to attend a wallpaper screen-printing demonstration from the very talented Daniel Heath at his studio in Walthamstow. I was invited by new social platform In The Window and have liked Heath’s illustrative designs for a while. The first time I saw them in real life was at Decorex this year and they really are joyful, his Art Deco, taxidermy and circus motifs work exquisitely on both paper and furniture.Read More

How early is too early to start thinking about Christmas?! I have a slightly over-enthusatic inclination as winter draws in to sit perusing recipes and decorations, planing for the time when your home feels most cosy and sociable. The design website In The Window have asked me to curate a collection for them, which translates in my head as a great excuse to go window shopping (or window licking as I prefer, see definition here). I have also done a short interview piece with them which you can see here. In The Window, who launched fairly recently, describe themselves as an immersive social experience celebrating the stories around the great design of objects and spaces.
